Introduction
Urban Property Management is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Financial Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing audit financial files for appointed Auditors, manage the clearance process of properties that is in a transferring phase and managing financial processes for various community schemes, including Body Corporates and Homeowners Associations.

Your role will be vital in equipping schemes to make sound financial decisions, ensuring their long-term sustainability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit preparation: Prepare audit documents and files for community schemes and update them as necessary.
  • Financial Data Management: Capture financial statement information and budgets using WeConnectU software.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure proper filing of documents.
  • Administrative Tasks: Execute general administrative duties, including tasks assigned by the Manager.
  • Compliance: Ensure processes align with the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act and Community Schemes Ombud Services Act.
  • Support: Contribute proactively to team objectives and collaborate with colleagues to meet service requirements.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Accounting background and/or experience in property management.
  • Proficient understanding of the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act and Community Schemes
  • Ombud Services Act and its clearance process
  • Excellent administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Keen attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Innovative and creative thinking to improve processes and workflow.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and clients.
